NARPAC
OFFERS SPEAKERS FOR METRO AREA GROUPS:
There
is enough material on this web site to intimidate even the strongest
supporter of a greatly improved national capital city. NARPAC is therefore
offering to provide speakers for various groups (educational, civic,
etc.) who would like to discuss--or debate--some of the basic issues
raised here. Talks can be tailored from fifteen to thirty minutes
in length, and the speakers are willing to appear on multiple-speaker
programs, or to engage in lively debates with anyone selected by the
host. The five topics now available include:
DC: Ready to Take Off -- But No Flight
Plan
The Dire Need for Long-range Planning
Six Steps to Total Urban Wellness
For DC, Revamped Governance is
Key
Getting Up on the Wave of the
Future
Embracing 21st Century Regionalism in DC
DC's Economic Challenges
It's Going to Take a Lot More than Tax
Incentives
NARPAC's Ten-Year Vision for DC

Grow
NARPAC speakers would expect an audience of 20 people or more.
There would be no charge, though donations would not be refused. To explore dates and details,
